❓Another Li Wenliang?

😠Chinese active media person Chen Jihong, online name Biaoqian, was summoned across provinces by the police of Taiping Police Station in Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, to the Nanshan District Public Security Bureau in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, for reposting an article about Jiangyou citizens collectively protesting against unfair law enforcement by CCP police.

📄This is his summons document.

🚨In this episode ( https://www.ganjingworld.com/video/1hsbb37of73wB4qD5Z1zLHMkm1eg1c ), I talked about the issue of China’s cement output having been declining in recent years. Cement output can, to some extent, serve as another indicator of the amount of fixed asset investment, but it is more reliable than the official figures of fixed asset investment released by the CCP.

📉The CCP's National Bureau of Statistics just released data on August 15 showing that in July of this year, cement output was 146 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%; the lowest level since 2009. From January to July, cement output was 958 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.5%.

Everyone can see that in the following chart, I gave the data for cement output from January to June of this year, which showed a year-on-year decrease of 4.1%.

This indeed shows that in July, cement output continued to decline sharply.

🖼️Jennifer's Photo Stories (19): My Pet Rabbits and Sweater 🖼️

I once spent a sunny afternoon beside the Unnamed Lake at Peking University with my two pet rabbits. How did I keep them from running away? I tied them together. They tried very hard to escape, but since they always ran in opposite directions, they ended up going nowhere—much to my amusement.

By the way, the sweater I was wearing that day was designed and hand-knitted by me. I fell in love with knitting during my last six months at university, when we had virtually no classes as everyone was preparing for graduate school entrance exams. I didn’t need to sit for the exams, since I had already been admitted to Peking University’s graduate program without testing, thanks to my very outstanding academic performance. Only two students in my class received this honor.

However, ten years later, I was sent to the Beijing Female Labor Camp for practicing Falun Gong. There, I was shocked with electric batons, kicked, and beaten by police and criminals. We were also forced to hand-knit sweaters that were exported overseas. The workload was so overwhelming that I dared not wash my hands after using the restroom—I couldn’t afford to waste even one minute.

If you have ever bought a hand-knitted sweater made in China, it might well have been created by people like me, under blood and tears—and without a cent of payment.

After being released from the labor camp, I vowed never again to hand-knit a sweater.

🔥Great! More and more Chinese people are awakening!

🔥 On August 9, at the Suzhou MixC Mall in China, a brave man wrote on the whiteboard behind him: “Power will only be accountable to its source, the Chinese people need the right to vote.”
