The Inner Sea # 2 - Unlocking the deep inner connection

Imagination is a vital part of creating somatic change and trigger wellness and strength.

We connect to the body, use our imagination/visualisation to trigger a shift in emotional and body based pain, anxiety etc.
The secret trick is then to use our own breath and vocal sound to release that stress and create inner relaxation.

Both of these aspects ... .i.e. somatic visualisation AND vocalisation have now been studied and proven as highly effective in science ..

BUT .... we are not machines ... and need artistry, beauty and poetry to enjoy a process .. .as well as to touch our higher spirits

Boring Self Help Chores never last.

This is the added dimension of somatic mytho-poetic work which I learnt in Egypt over 10 years .. and it is beautiful ....

The core is the most stressed and troubled part of the body energetically . .and yet where we gain our power and strength .. .

In Ancient Times Sound Scent Word and Movement filled the Temple Spaces ... it was the Temple Arts. The Temple Arts were the practises of using creativity to expand. (not ta***ic s*x as they are referred to these days in order to sell tours and programs)

The ARTS were the medicine of the sacred spaces that brought them alive and made them feel tangible, real, dense.

For a temple is just a space in which our senses are so amplified that we can see beyond our ordinary everyday minds and find the answers to living more magically.

When my guests journey with me in the ancient spaces, esp. in Egypt, they often feel sad at the destruction of the beautiful spaces ... and the loss of the culture of art and healing and connection .. .

I know this feeling - I cried myself for 6 months during my first days living in Egypt.

But it passed and I came to realise that those ages had their time .. . and the knowledge they held is still within us in our ancient memories, bones and skin.

That the temple is now the Body ... the space we inhabit.

And when we sing it alive, creating deep relaxation, intelligence (Neuron) connections, awareness and greater presence ... we activate the temple of old through our own bodies.

I don't offer priestess or goddess trainings on my journeys .. because for me I feel we have gone far beyond all that ..
And it is our own space now ... and learning to reconnect that space to the natural spaces that is the point.

I feel humility in the wonder is what helps us live magically ..
And our sound is what helps our minds silence ...
uniting body, mind and soul ...

The Sacred Sound of the HUM - beginning and ending ..
as well as the Expansive Sun Heart Sound of the AH ..
and the Deep Calm of the Round OH.

Sung not as vowels .. but with the deeper layers and overtones, subtle vowel sound shifts .. that they knew originally. .. more like 'sound consciousness' than random sounds.

Fill the space and fill the body temple.
