One of my many passions in life is real estate photography, capturing spaces in their best light and telling their story through the lens. Even better? I get to combine my photography with design work, creating visuals that I fall in love with. (Like the one I did for this post!)

I just had to share a few of my favourite shots from my recent trip, hosted by the fabulous

It was incredible to physically see some of the brands I work with and wow, what a backdrop to do it in!

Swakopmund completely charmed me. It’s not every day you find a place where the desert and the ocean meet in such perfect contrast. 🌊🏜️

Sunrise and sunset just hit different here too: skies brushed with deep hues and soft light that feel almost unreal.

I did all the things:

🐚 Visited Walvis Bay harbour and lagoon (the flamingos were shy this time, but still magical)
🏨 Stayed (highly recommend!)
🥩 And if you find yourself in Windhoek: served the best steak I’ve had this year. (Paired with calamari! Foodie heaven.)
🧂 The salt fields, with their soft pink tones, were a photographer’s dream.

But honestly? Walking in the desert was my absolute favourite part. There’s just something about standing in that wide, endless sand that makes me feel free, like anything is possible.

All in all, it was a trip filled with beautiful sights, good food, and the best company. Namibia, you have my heart forever. 💛✨

Let’s be honest… for Instagram to work for your business, you basically need to offer up your blood, sweat, tears, and a lock of your mother’s hair from when she still had her maiden name.

No really, it takes a whole lot of time, effort, and strategy to grow here.

Here’s what actually works:

📌 Consistency:
Post. Show up. Repeat. I recommend at least one piece of content a day (stories, reels, carousels — just be present).
📌 Engagement:
Comment on posts, make friends, reply to stories, start convos. Instagram wants your attention, not just your content.
📌 Community:
This is the secret sauce. The more you show up and connect, the more the algorithm loves you.

Let’s not sugarcoat it, Instagram is the snob of the social media family. But it’s still the place where younger generations hang out, discover new brands, and spend their money. So yes, your biz needs to be there.

👉 Facebook is great for the 30+ crowd. Think decision-makers, parents, and homeowners.
👉 TikTok? Not just for the teens anymore. Everyone’s on it. If your business isn’t… you may want to rethink that 👀

Bottom line? You don’t need to do everything, but you do need to show up smart.

From Canon to Canva, coffee to content… she’s booked, busy, and probably editing a Reel right now.

This was such a fun reminder that your brand is a vibe — and sometimes the best way to show up online is to show off the chaotic, colorful, creative you.

🤩 Value drop: Your audience connects with personality, not perfection. Let them see the behind-the-scenes. Let them feel the fun.

✨ How to create your own action figure post:

- Pick your best selfie or photo.
- Upload it into your AI tool of choice (I used ChatGPT with DALL·E).
- Prompt it like this: “Draw an action figure of me in a clear blister pack with accessories like a laptop, camera, green-cased iPhone, Canva, Instagram, and Facebook app logos. Label it ‘Social Media Girly’ with ‘Limited Edition’ on the box. Make the packaging white and minimal.”

📖 One of my absolute favorite spots in Warner Beach is the charming This little bookstore is a treasure trove of interesting reads and a haven for book lovers like me. ✨📚

I recently visited and came away armed with five new books (one of which I had already devoured over the weekend!). The joy of finding something unique and engaging among the shelves is unmatched.👌
