It’s a story of French cuisine and an African journey by Françoise Malby-Anthony, who moved from Paris to Durban, and was just getting used to living in what she describes as ‘a small provincial town’ when she and her husband uprooted and moved to the middle of nowhere.
It’s a love story, a collection of true stories from 27 years of living in the African bush, and recipes for the wonderful dishes that are served up at Thula Thula Private Game Reserve. With anecdotes throughout, the book is a delight … as are the recipes.
