5 Senses Art Exhibition: A Celebration of Creative Freedom
Thokoza, City of Ekurhuleni – April 27, 2025 – The 5 Senses Art Exhibition returns for its second edition, bringing an immersive celebration of local creativity, cultural expression, and artistic innovation to Merithing Park, Thokoza, on Freedom Day, April 27.
This year’s event features an outdoor visual arts exhibition honoring the freedom of creative expression, showcasing works from talented local artists Siyamthemba_Art, Tido_Art (ONB), and L.Tee_Art. A fashion show by Pale and Poponki Creations, a Thokoza-based design brand, will highlight innovative, locally crafted designs. The lineup also includes 40 musicians, poets, and performers from across Ekurhuleni, making this a powerful platform for artistic exchange.
The 5 Senses Art Exhibition aims to empower local artists, designers, and performers, creating an immersive and engaging experience while fostering creativity, self-expression, and community engagement.
This year’s event is facilitated by 5 Senses Cafe and Art Studio, in collaboration with Help a Learner Become a Student, HABITAT61 CREATIVE HUB NPO, Monkey Business, and Pale and Poponki Creations.
