Deeolen Brits Reimagines “Nooit Te Laat” with a Contemporary Sound and Timeless Message
Emerging gospel artist Deeolen Brits, a 22-year-old worshipper from Sir Lowry’s Pass, has released his latest single, Nooit Te Laat, offering a renewed expression of faith grounded in the assurance that God’s timing is never too late. Originally composed and performed by Laurenzo Davids in 2011, the song has been reinterpreted with a fresh, contemporary sound. While the musical arrangement introduces a modern feel, the core message remains unchanged, reminding listeners that divine timing is perfect and purpose unfolds as it should.
Brits’ musical journey began at the age of eight when he first performed in a church Christmas play. From that early moment, his passion for music steadily developed, shaping him into a committed vocalist and worship leader within his community.
Over the years, he has built a growing catalogue of gospel music that reflects both collaboration and individual artistry. His debut release, Fill My Cup Lord in 2019 with Kruiskyk, was followed by his solo single U Is. He later collaborated with Stemme on Ek Prys Hom and Laat Die Salwing. In 2025, he reached a significant milestone with the release of Alles Vir My under LD Media House.
