I’m a Content Strategist, a researcher at heart, and a mother of three boys (ages 9, 7, and a 6-month-old who currently measures time in milk and naps). I have a low tolerance for buzzwords, a deep fear of chicken feet, and a talent for going down internet rabbit holes so you don’t have to. Whether it’s analysing a major tech acquisition or figuring out if the baby is teething, I write to explain

what it actually means. What you'll find on this page:

I cannot get the image out of my head. I cannot process the sequence of events that leads a child into the dark, wet drum of an appliance.

It is a death so small, so domestic, and so horrifyingly lonely that it makes the mass shootings feel almost abstract.

If you’re new here, you might be wondering why I’m posting about Netflix stock prices one day and a tragedy in Retreat the next.

I’m a Content Strategist and a mom of three based in South Africa. My goal is to find the invisible threads that tie digital culture to real life.

I don’t do buzzwords, and I definitely don’t do clowns. But I do context.
