🚨 Six Injured In Collision After Driver Stops To Urinate: R102 South - KZN 🚨

Six (6) people were injured following a motor vehicle collision on the southbound lane of the R102 between the Canelands and Mountview traffic light controlled intersections in KwaZulu-Natal this morning (Monday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene and established that a blue Renault Triber was travelling southbound when it collided with a white Isuzu bakkie that was stationary on the yellow line. The driver of the Isuzu bakkie had allegedly pulled over after stopping to urinate. The driver of the Renault stated that he did not notice the bakkie was stationary and subsequently crashed into it. As a result of the collision, six (6) occupants of the Isuzu bakkie sustained injuries.

All injured parties were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital by ambulance for further medical care.

Gauteng Matriculants can visit results.gauteng.gov.za and enter their examination number to access their results online when they are released on Tuesday, 13 January 2026 at 00:00am (midnight).

Five killed in collision between sedan and articulated truck on R23 between Balfour and Greylingstad. Victims were all in the sedan. The Crash happened around 7PM.
