The older I get, the more I trust my intuition, protect my peace, and let the universe handle the things that are none of my damn business.

I've learned that not every question needs an answer, not every situation needs my energy, and not every battle deserves a front-row seat in my life.

Sometimes you just need to light a candle, shuffle your cards, have a little word with the universe and say…

“Right, Spirit… I've done my part. The rest is above my pay grade!”

I'm all for love, light and positive energy, but let's be honest… even a spiritual woman has days when her sage needs sage!

I believe in kindness, but I also believe in boundaries.
I believe in forgiveness, but I also believe in learning the lesson.
I believe in divine timing, but I'm not sitting around waiting for the universe to send a calendar invitation!

My magic isn't about being perfect. It's about growing, learning, trusting that little voice within, and having the courage to be unapologetically myself.

If you are feeling overwhelmed right now - This affirmation is for you.  

“I release the belief that I must carry everything on my own. I allow life to meet me, support me, and make space for me to breathe.”

An affirmation isn’t something you simply read once and forget about. It’s something you practise, feel and allow yourself to connect with.

Find a quiet, comfortable space where you can sit for a few minutes without being disturbed. Close your eyes, take a few slow, deep breaths and allow yourself to become present.

If you can’t find complete quiet, don’t let that stop you. Sit somewhere comfortable, put on your headphones, take a walk, sit in your car, or simply find a few moments where you can turn your attention inward.

Now read the affirmation slowly.

Say it out loud if you can. If you can’t, repeat it silently in your mind.

Don’t rush through the words.

Repeat the affirmation several times. As you say it, allow yourself to actually feel what the words mean.

Imagine yourself releasing the weight you’ve been carrying. Picture yourself putting down the responsibilities, worries and expectations that you have been holding onto.

Then allow yourself to imagine what it feels like to be supported.

Breathe.

You don’t have to force yourself to believe the affirmation immediately. If part of you says, “But I have to do everything myself,” simply notice that thought and return to the affirmation.

With repetition, intention and feeling, you begin to create space for a new way of thinking.

Try practising your affirmation in the morning when you wake up, before you go to sleep, or whenever you feel overwhelmed during the day.

Take your time.

Breathe deeply.

Speak the words with intention.

Say it with intention.

Feel it with your whole heart.

Live it as if it’s already happened.

I thought it was Friday… 😂 but apparently Thursday had other plans! So today I’m officially calling it Thor’s Day. ⚡️ Thursday comes from Thor, the Norse god of thunder, so I’m taking that as a sign to bring a little thunder, power and good energy into the day. Hammer up, music on, vibes high! I’m listening to Life Is Simple by Salome Das and honestly… sometimes we just need to stop overthinking everything and remember that life really can be simple. Take a breath. Put on some music. Laugh at yourself when you think it’s Friday on a Thursday. And keep moving with good energy. 💚✨
