Maybe healing isn’t always about running far enough away from the past.

Sometimes it’s about finally asking yourself:
What am I still carrying, and why?

Because you can change your environment, keep yourself busy, set new goals and look completely fine on the outside… while still repeating the same patterns on the inside.

Self-awareness isn’t always comfortable, but it’s where change begins.

And sometimes the person you need to stop running from is yourself. 🤍

There’s something so beautiful about love when it’s genuine. 🤍

Not the perfect, storybook kind. Just the kind where two people choose each other, care for each other, make room for each other and genuinely want to see each other happy.

I think we’ve sometimes made love far more complicated than it needs to be.

Love can hurt because we’re human and relationships aren’t perfect. But manipulation, disrespect, fear and constantly questioning where you stand shouldn’t have to be the definition of love.

I love that Scripture gives us such a simple picture:

“God is love.” — 1 John 4:16

May we experience more of the kind of love that brings peace, not confusion. 🤍
