Every woman has a fundamental right to BE - without fear, without constantly premeditating protection tactics, and without having to make herself smaller to survive.
The responsibility does not solely belong to women to prevent being murdered, harassed, assaulted or violated in any way.
YEZ Models challenges the notion that girls should be taught to protect themselves from violence when they deserve to live in a world that respects their safety, dignity and right to exist freely.
We are calling on men. Fathers, sons, brothers, uncles and friends not to stand beside us in silence or stand behind us as spectators but to stand with us in action because ending GBV and Femicide is not a woman’s issue alone. IT’S A HUMAN RESPONSIBILITY.
This is not a fight between women and men.
This is a fight against violence.
