It is true that many people have invested significant time and money in counselling, yet still find themselves carrying a deep sense of emptiness.

In this conversation, I sit down with fellow collaborator on the Masiviweza “Gent’s Let’s Talk” campaign, Given, to explore his work in community mental health, the power of our names, and the importance of introspection with God on the journey of self-discovery. We also unpack several other themes that intersect with healing, identity, purpose, and what it means to become fully ourselves.

I watched a video on YouTube the other day that got me thinking about the kind of advice young men are growing up with online. Everywhere you look, someone is explaining how life works… But sometimes I wonder whether all this advice is quietly talking us out of living our own lives.
