Found this in the archives and it still gives me goosebumps. There is something truly special about the spirit of the Baviaanskloof. Every year without fail the local community shows up for the Trans Baviaans riders. Cheering. Clapping. Handing out water and encouragement like it is their own family out on the trail.

These moments remind us that events like this are not just about the ride but about the people who bring it to life.
