I really enjoy working with people who bring more than just performance to a shoot. Thomas is someone I genuinely look up to. Always positive, always grounded, and always showing up with the right energy. That attitude carries into every moment, and it makes the collaboration feel natural and honest.

These frames are small glimpses of that process. Real moments, real energy, and a collaboration I am truly grateful for.

From Lucy’s kitchen laughter, teaching her daughter to knead dough with clean hands… to Sindile’s morning routine, sending her child to school in a fresh uniform… to Regina’s front yard, where monitoring technology keeps the taps running… to Felicia’s thriving garden that now feeds her family and neighbors.

Found this in the archives and it still gives me goosebumps. There is something truly special about the spirit of the Baviaanskloof. Every year without fail the local community shows up for the Trans Baviaans riders. Cheering. Clapping. Handing out water and encouragement like it is their own family out on the trail.

These moments remind us that events like this are not just about the ride but about the people who bring it to life.

A while ago I had the chance to shoot a full campaign for Forever Resorts Warmbaths and now walking past this display with all the images I took it hit me just how special this project was. Every photo tells a story of the place the people the energy
