Notice is hereby given to all interested and affected parties that a Water Use License Application will be undertaken on behalf of
Kafue River Trading(Pty) Ltd.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Kafue River Trading (Pty) Ltd holds a Water Use Licence (WUL) which authorises water use activities associated with a mixed- use development located in Mogale City Extensions 45 and 46. Kafue River Trading (Pty) Ltd (the applicant) proposes to expand operations. To support this expansion, the applicant seeks authorisation for additional water uses, specifically for the abstraction of groundwater from boreholes to meet the increased water demand, as well as for the management of stormwater infrastructure and sanitation.

LOCALITY:
The site is located near the corner of Malibongwe Drive and the R512, south of the N14 and Lanseria International Airport, North of Cosmo City and Southwest of Diepsloot Township on the Remaining Extent of Portion 126 (a portion of Portion 73), Portion 214 and 215 (a portion of Portion 179), Portion 366 (a portion of Portion 196) and Portion 424 (a portion of Portion 161) of the Farm Nooitgedacht 534 JQ.

PROPOSED WATER USES:
The applicant seeks to comply with all legislative requirements by applying for the following water uses, in terms of the National Water Act (NWA), (36 of 1998), Section 21:
