The Gardener and Plantland’s choice: Olive 'Arbequina' Olea europaea

Add a touch of Mediterranean charm to your garden with the Arbequina Olive. This compact, slow-growing tree features attractive grey-green leaves, smooth pale bark, and neat fruiting form. Hardy and low-maintenance, it’s a graceful all-rounder. Prefers well-drained soil.

Position: Olive trees require a lot of direct sunlight to produce the best fruit and do not do well in the shade.

Suitable for: pots, small spaces, or formal settings

Conditions: Thrives in mild winters and hot, dry summers

Watering: While olives are relatively drought-tolerant, they require regular and sufficient irrigation, especially during critical growth stages and dry spells.
