MotoZA had a chance to catch up with Tristan Purdon at the first Round of the 2024 South African National Motocross Championship, held at Legends Adventure & MX track in Rayton, Pretoria. Tristan missed out on the previous opportunity to represent team South Africa in 2023 for the "MX Des Nations". But happilly We can announce that "TP41" has been chosen for Team South Africa for the 2024 "MX Des Nations" to be held in Matterly Basin in England, close to where Tristan has been based in Scotland for the last 2 years.Tristan gave us an account on His experience on racing in Scotland and the UK, as well on His debut to the MXGP's and on his first AMA Outdoors races coming up in the US for 2024 season. Proudly and happilly to have had Tristan Purdon on "The Chat Show" catching up with His racing career for the last 2 years that has gone by.

MotoZA "The Chat Show" had a chance to catch up with Cameron Durow at the last round of the South National Motocross Championship at the end of 2023 held at Chestnut Hill Motocross Park in Rayton, Pretoria. Cam was chosen for the 2nd time to represent team South Africa in 2023. Cameron gave us an account on some insight and His experience at the "Des Nations" at Budds Creek in 2022 and his 2nd "Motocross Des Nations" held last year in Ernee France.

MotoZA "The Chat Show" had a final chance to to catch up with Stav Orland from Uganda at the last round of the South National Motocross Championship at the end of 2023 held at Chestnut Hill Motocross Park in Rayton, Pretoria. His time of racing in Africa has come to an end as Stav and Dalton Venter from South Africa are going to race the AMA Outdoor series as a team for 2024. As Stav fraised it to "Bring Africa back into the racing" A recap of his final National in South Africa and his future plans as a racer and his career as a pilot. It was really interresting to get to more about Stav and the Orland's from Uganda.

MotoZA "The Chat Show" caught up with Slade Smith at the 9th annuall North vs South Interprovincial race meeting held every year at BORC Motocross Club in Bloemfontein. What an unexpexted visit from our own current Pro Motocross racer in the Pro Motocross AMA Outdoors in the US. Very interresting insights about how Pro Motocross functions, the American tracks as we see it on TV and how he describes it to really be. Slade gave us a recap on the 2023 Outdoor season with his best finish for the year, 17th overall at Southwick.

On the 22 July 2024 an Iconic South African Motocross legend Horace Bergstrom passed away in Cape Town, after fighting a long battle with his illness and condition.Saddened by the news as we here at "The Chat Show" was planning for a long while to interview this Legend on Motocross in South Africa in the 70's and early 80's and his involvement with the development of the Sport of Motocross in South Africa at that point of time. Would have been great to hear the stories of him working directly with factory Yamaha in Japan, just to mention one.Now we will have to get the stories which was passed down to his son, Mark Bergstrom in time to come.Sadley Mark did mention that his dad said that He really wanted to do this interview once he leaves the hospital and let his story be told. Condolances to the Bergstrom's and extended family.

We here at "The Chat Show" had the privilege and honor to sit down with the Reeh's for our 2nd Studio Show at the Nitro Factory in Kenridge, Cape Town. Mario and Jenna Reeh are giving us a run down on who the Reeh's really are. Where they have been and where they came from. Also their involvement in Motocross internationally at the AMA's in the US and MXGP's in Europe and even to the British Championships in Great Britain. How life came together for them up to this point in time, running a US franchised Total Control Suspension Centre locally here in Cape Town ,South Africa at Zone7 Motocross Track. Mario has a wealth of knowledge and information on the Sport of Motocross from the late 80's and 90's even to this current day, here in sunny South Africa. What a truly informative Show it was, and learned from someone who has been involved since He was 15 and been involved for the most part of 35 years in the Sport of Motocross.
