Brits licensing centre to take limited numbers,
To minimise COVID-19 infections in the Madibeng Local Municipality, the Brits Licensing Centre as from Monday, 11 January 2021 take limited number of customers in efforts to curb the spread of the virus.
The Hartbeespoort Registration Authority will remain closed until further notice. A detailed schedule will be released soon. The municipality through their Communication Unit apologized for the inconvenience caused.

North West registers 565 COVID-19 cases
The North West Department of Health has reported a total of 565 cases of COVID19 infections in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the North West Province is 47021 with 35741 people having recovered from the coronavirus with 76.0% recovery rate.
Regrettably, the provincial department announced 4 more COVID-19 related deaths, which take the number of deaths in the province to 707. MEC Madoda Sambatha conveyed sincere condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thanks health care workers who treated the deceased.
