NEWS:

Former Bergview College principal, Jaco Piertese, has resigned at the school, citing that the misinformation about him allegedly having been involved in the sexual assault that Cwecwe suffered have discomforted him to continue serving as the school's headmaster. Jaco is said to be pursuing a legal route suing the politicians who were certain that he was behind the sexual assault Cwecwe suffered, which he was later proven to be not have been a perpetrator and the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) discontinued the case due to lack of evidence.

In other news, a Fanie Piertese, who was a caregiver, was reported by Bianca van Wyk on X to have pleaded guilty for sexual exploitation of a child and sexual grootman. Fanie, who shares the same surname as Jaco, has inspired a conspiracy theory that p*deophilia runs in the Piertese family despite the two having not been proven to be family related.

URGENT: KwaMhlanga House Collapse Appeal

Yesterday, our home in KwaMhlanga tragically collapsed due to the heavy rains. My little sister and I were inside when it happened. By God’s grace, we made it out without any injuries — but we've lost everything.

We're reaching out to anyone who can help in any way, whether it's with shelter, food, clothing, or support of any kind. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to us during this difficult time.

Please share this post to help us reach more people. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

"Some Spent Easter in Church — I Spent Mine in Hospital" | A Message That Might Be For You

ā€œFor three nights straight, I dreamed I was with the love of my life—my ex. In every dream, I was stabbed in front of her, and I felt every bit of that pain. Her crying hit me deeper than the knife ever could.

My mom told me, ā€˜You’re not the dreaming type—stay in.’ But I didn’t listen. I went out for a meeting and ended up trying to help someone… and got stabbed in the face. Two inches from my eye. A blade.

Sometimes we think we’re too smart for signs. But don’t forget—God still speaks. Dreams still mean something. Warnings still come, even when we don’t want to hear them.

It’s good to be new school, but don’t lose touch with the old wisdom. Don’t ignore that inner voice. It might save your life.ā€

"I Thought I Was Fine—Until It Was Almost Too Late" | A Message from Ambesiwe Nogaya

After defaulting on her ARV treatment for nearly 7 years, Ambesiwe Nogaya from Walmer bravely shares her truth:

> ā€œI didn’t feel sick. I thought maybe they were lying about the virus. But recently, my body started changing. I was tired all the time and didn’t realize my immune system was shutting down. When I finally went to the hospital, they told me my CD4 count was dangerously low—I’m at the AIDS stage now.ā€

She was discharged after just two days and referred to her local clinic, where staff are now doing everything they can to stabilize her condition. A therapist was also brought in to help her cope.

> ā€œAt this point, death is my only worry. I’m scared. But I called this upon myself—there’s no one to blame. I want you to learn from me.ā€

Ambesiwe’s message is clear and urgent:

ā€œPlease take your treatment every day. Go to your clinic appointments. Being afraid of people’s judgment won’t save your life. If you don’t know your status, get tested—you don’t have to wait to feel sick.ā€

To anyone reading this, let her story be a wake-up call:
Befriend your treatment. It could save your life.
