Bronkhorstspruit, 2 August 2025 — A two-car accident occurred earlier today at a four-way stop in Bronkhorstspruit, involving a Volkswagen Polo Vivo and a Suzuki. Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after the collision was reported.
According to eyewitnesses, the crash happened midday, when one of the vehicles allegedly failed to yield the right of way at the stop. While no serious injuries have been reported, both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage, with debris scattered across the intersection.
Paramedics assessed the occupants of both cars on-site. Fortunately, all passengers were treated for minor shock and bruising, with no hospitalisations required.
The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of caution and proper yielding at four-way intersections—where right-of-way confusion often leads to preventable crashes.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. Authorities have not confirmed whether charges will be laid.
