Our journey began in 2010 when a group of like-minded creatives got together to form a Rap group called B-town Subway. We had no access to quality beats to use or a studio to record at, all we had was a dream of becoming the best in town and the passion to make good music so a few weeks later, DA Labs Music opened its home studio doors exclusively to artists who are recruited to be part of the team led from the back by Just-Aya.

Over the past years, we have managed to collect and expose a multi-talented roster of creatives who may not necessarily share similar sounds, but overall share the same vision. This vision has manifested into multiple high-energy and popular collaborations with O.T.E Artistry, Pure Life Entertainment, The Blacksmithed - All Things Eastern Cape Hip Hop, DirtyEastGvng amongst many others but most importantly it created a demand for our type of hip-hop style and music that has been influenced by our unique approach to music or has yet to be unearthed.

With our Original B-town Sound we have grown to be one of the biggest Eastern Cape household names and we aim to keep providing more opportunities to creatives who have a relatable story, believes in our vision, and those who are contributing their efforts towards us accomplishing our mission.
