I have had the best time in Cape Town!

Thank you to for hosting me and mommy and showing me the awesome kids room. It is definitely the best room I have ever stayed in!!

Managed an impromptu unplanned day to the to watch our take the win against Argentina in the final - they did almost give me heart failure 😨

Bumped into which is always awesome to catch up and finally got to see and thanks for organizing for me to meet the players after the game .

An absolute epic trip can’t wait to be back! Definitely adding the Sevens to my holiday list going forward!

First and last day of grade 3!

The best part of this year - rugby, and the lead in the play, my friends!
The worst part of this year - saying goodbye to friends that are leaving for other schools and countries, and homework (I know it’s important)

Grade 3 was great- it was hard and challenging in many ways but I got through it! I learnt lots of new things, and I got my pen license! I scored tries, made tackles, hit some fours and took some wickets. I sang my heart out, stood up for what was right, made people laugh, learnt lessons when I was wrong and all in all grew as a person both physically and emotionally!

I am ready for grade 4!

Today was a bittersweet day. A rite of passage I am told. It was my last assembly in Junior Prep, my last one as a Grade 3.
Next year I move to the Senior Prep, which feels exciting and scary at the same time. This year wasn’t always easy, there was a lot of challenges, but I kept going and I’m proud of that.
The hardest part today was saying goodbye to two of my friends who are leaving our school.

To my bestest chicken jockey Kade‑O — you’re the only 6‑7 who laughs at all my crazy jokes and makes me laugh even more. I’m going to miss you so much, buddy. Your new school is super lucky to get you. I promise I won’t tackle you too hard in rugby, and I’ll still see you when I have playdates with Elle… I mean you.

And Tanay, how lucky is Australia, they literally getting a maths genius AND a fast bowler all in one. I’m going to miss you tons. Thanks for always being so kind. I’ll definitely visit when I come to Oz.

Now it’s the last few days of Grade 3, and then… HOLIDAYS!
