CLARKE - OUT NOW

This release is about more than music.

It’s about what happens when belief is carried forward, when artists who have walked the path turn back and open doors for the next generation.

, a Bridges for Music / Producer for Music alumni, represents exactly that journey. From the programme into the global space, now collaborating across continents alongside , and

This is what mentorship looks like in motion, not just guidance, but real opportunities, real platforms, and real trust.

At its core, Clarke is a reflection of where it all begins, and how far it can go when someone believes in you.

This is why we do this.

Some records are written for the dancefloor.
Others are written to process something deeper.

Karma (Jegede) was born during a moment of personal loss, when life paused, questions surfaced, and music became a way to hold emotion and movement at the same time.

Driven by warm Afro-house rhythms and reflective lyrics, Digital Sangoma explores the tension between rhythm and reckoning, where the body moves forward, but the mind is still searching for forgiveness, balance, and time.

This is Afro-Electronic storytelling at its most honest.

Music sometimes holds emotions words cannot.

Karma (Jegede) was written during a moment of grief, reflection, and questioning, about forgiveness, responsibility, and the idea of karma itself.

On Mix It Up Vol.4, presence is undeniable. She gave us the hypnotic chorus on “JOZI” with & , and the grounding chants on “BAD ONE” with & . Two completely different tracks, both lifted by her voice.

This isn’t her first time shaping the sound of the series, she was also part of Mix It Up Vol.3. That consistency and artistry show just how much she’s becoming one of the standout voices of amapiano.
Beyond Mix It Up, Makhanj has been carving her lane with writer credits alongside , , and more.

We’re proud and grateful to have her contribute across two volumes of this project. She’s proof of the talent, originality, and versatility coming out of South Africa, and we can’t wait to see where her journey goes next.
