🩸 KURU — A RECAP
Before we enter the next chapter… let’s go back to where it all began.
KURU.
Set in the Core PlotSet in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, KURU was never meant to be just another horror story.
Part documentary. Part horror. Inspired by true events.
It began with dark rumours about a mysterious place said to “steal” people. Then came the stories. The disappearances. The whispers. The things people refused to talk about.
At the centre of it all was Vuyo—a man whose descent into paranoia, possession and psychological terror slowly blurred the line between what was happening inside his mind and what was happening around him.
But Vuyo’s story was only one piece of something much bigger.
The Gobela people were forced to confront ancestral curses, bloodline rituals and supernatural shadows that had seemingly been waiting for generations to resurface.
And then there was KURU.
A real neurological disease. A terrifying medical reality. And, within this story, something that becomes far more sinister than a diagnosis.
What started as a mystery became a descent into fear, madness, possession and the unknown.
And if you thought that was where the story ended…
Think again.
🩸 KURU PART 2 IS CURRENTLY IN THE WORKS.
The story continues.
The questions haven’t been answered.
The shadows haven’t disappeared.
And whatever was awakened in KURU…
isn’t finished.
