Long before many knew her as Mama Ranger, she had already dedicated her life to serving others.
From military communities to conservation projects during the rhino poaching crisis in the Kruger National Park, Arina Jooste led with compassion, resilience, and quiet strength.
Sy wat wil Dien is a powerful story of purpose, service, and a life deeply rooted in caring for both people and the wild.
It was simply who she was.

✨ MEET THE AUTHOR ✨
Stories have always been part of Mpho Keitumetse’s world.
Born in Lesotho and inspired by her love of reading from a young age, her storytelling journey continued through her school years in Eswatini, where her passion for writing truly came alive.
Her first published short story, Life Melts Roses, appeared in a Canadian university publication, and she later went on to write and produce several plays, including Three Dragons, The Lonely One, and The Last Gift.
Now, with Moon Pearl — her first formally published children’s book — she invites readers into a magical tale of wonder, light, pride, and the origins of the moon itself. 🌙
Today, Mpho lives in Francistown, Botswana with her family, who continue to inspire the stories she tells.
