As we embrace various degrees of isolation, I thought to find a way to share my skills with my community.
I will be hosting a FREE 2-week digital screenwriting workshop from 30th March to 10th April (2hrs – 10 sessions – Mon/Fri). I will cover what I believe to be the basics of effective and engaging storytelling in scripts: with a specific focus on African filmmaking.
If you’d like to join us, please send a brief motivation (350 words max) and a writing sample (5 pages max) to: [email protected] before 26th March (midnight). I am only able to accommodate 10 participants.
Tell me a little about yourself and why you’d like to join us in your motivations. Your writing sample can be anything from a script excerpt to a narrative treatment (synopsis, logline, character briefs, etc.)
If you are selected, my team and I will share more information with you in the days leading up to the workshop. In the meantime, Feel free to email us if you have any other questions and share this poster with your networks 🙂
I am looking forward to reading your submissions!
