A night out in town ended in horror for two manne after they accepted a lift, only to be ambushed and shot in a remote parking lot at the Wolfgat Nature Reserve near Tafelsig.
One man, 30, was killed with a gunshot to the head, while his friend, also 30, miraculously survived after being shot in the neck. The incident unfolded in the early hours of Saturday morning, just after 04:00am.
