Lunch at Die Stoep at Vriesenhof is made for lingering over. Set in the estate’s historic former manor house, plates are passed around the table, Vriesenhof w**es are poured and the afternoon unfolds at its own pace. 🍷
We settled in for a generous spread of crispy artichokes, lamb riblets, steak tartare, seared yellowfin tuna and burrata, followed by fire-roasted yellowtail and a couple of desserts worth saving room for. Add vineyard views, the warmth of the fire on cooler days and the stoep as spring settles in, and you’ve got all the makings of a long lunch in the W**elands. Vriesenhof

Canopy by Hilton Cape Town Longkloof hosted a soirée that reminded us how much there is to discover just beyond the hotel doors. With Cape Town gems like AfroGems, Custodian and local clothing stores nearby, guests received a Curated Passport to help them explore the neighbourhood at their own pace.

At the base of Canopy, Ongetem served South African food that was generous in both flavour and portion size. It was a fitting taste of Cape Town to round out the evening.
