Today we’re sharing a story that feels especially profound as we move into the festive season — a story of resilience, expert care, and what can only be described as a Christmas healing miracle.
Seven-year-old Hayden arrived at St Joseph’s Intermediate Paediatric Care earlier this year unable to walk, unable to swallow, and in constant pain after battling tuberculous meningitis. His prognosis was uncertain, and his little body was fragile and malnourished.
But six months later, Hayden is walking with assistance, laughing, singing, eating his favourite foods, and embracing life with a joy that fills the entire ward.

We speak to Dushina Arran from St Joseph's.
