The right to peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic freedom, not a crime. We as Zimbabweans deserve to have their voices heard without fear of arrest or intimidation. If Bhekimpilo Mbedzi was detained solely for organizing a peaceful protest, due process and justice should prevail. Respecting constitutional rights strengthens, rather than weakens, a nation.
