It’s with great sadness we the Al Ahly Thikr Jamaah will unfortunately not be honoring any further thikrs until the situation is under control due to the COVID19 pandemic. We ask Maalf to all those who we will be disappointing for the planned upcoming thikrs over the next few weeks at your homes and humbly ask that you understand the predicament we unfortunately find ourselves in due to the social distancing and gathering aspect.

We have consulted all Jamaah members and the decision taken is unanimous in lieu of the rise in cases of the virus in our country. We urge that you keep the Athkaar alive in your homes and make duah that Allah urgently grant a cure for this pandemic.
May Allah make it easy on all of us.

In the interim, we will use social media to post previous thikrs on our group on a Thursday evening to ensure we do our bit and bring the athkaar into your homes or alternatively contact us or the radio stations for a copy of our past recordings.

It's with great sadness that our leader and imam of this Jamaah has just lost his mother. Known to all of us as "Nana", our Duahs and condolences are with the Sterras and Dante family during this sad time. We make duah that Allah grant aunty Zainab Sabera and all other deceased a high place in Jannah and grant the family and loved ones contentment and acceptance during this time of the loss. What a great women who we all loved dearly.
