Hi friends! It's me, Roxy, the rescued doxie.

I wanted to share a memory from a year ago. It was a cold, windy, and rainy winter evening here in Cape Town. But the warmth from my new home wrapped around me like a cozy blanket, making me feel safe and loved as I snuggled up in my favorite spot by the fireplace.

That’s me, the 8-month-old shaded cream, with Auntie-Bella and Oumie-wors. 🐕💕

Don’t forget to bundle up, winter is coming. ❄

Did you know that in Wienerland, a "Sausage-Sea-Sider" is a wiener dog who loves the sea or ocean, often seeking out opportunities to be near, in, or on the water? The term is derived from the Old French word "sausage" meaning sausage👀, and Old Cape Town word "sea-sider" meaning surf-sniffer 🏄‍♂️. So, a Sausage-Sea-Sider is a wiener dog who finds joy, peace, or inspiration from being in or around the ocean. 🌊
