Zone Radio 88.5 FM is a commercial community radio station that serves and broadcasts to the following areas in the “Deep South” ... Belvedere, Capri, Chapmans Peak, Crofters Valley, Faerie
Knowe, Fish Hoek, Goedehoop Estate, Imhofs Gift, Klein Slangkop, Kommetjie, Masiphumelele, Noordhoek, Ocean View, San Michel, Sun Valley, Sunnydale & The Lakes. We also broadcast online at www.zoneradio.co.za

and via our Zone Radio app, to reach other areas elsewhere in Cape Town, the rest of South Africa as well as elsewhere in the world. Zone Radio's focus in on the following:

* Play-listing the kind of adult contemporary music often absent from existing radio stations in South Africa.
* Providing a platform for local and independent musicians showcase their talent.
* Developing training programs for people who wish to become involved in radio.
* Providing a place where new presenters will be given the opportunity to hone their skill.
* Offering clients cost effective but creative advertising solutions.
* Remaining interactive with our listeners so as to develop a “Zone Radio Community”
* Portraying the best of the Deep Southern Peninsula to the world.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the move to Longbeach Mall we’ll be off-air 9 and 10 August, with no shows broadcast during the move. Our goal is to be fully operational again in time for the Sunrise Zone on Monday morning, 11 August on 93.3fm.

Damon Garty from Falcon Solutions will be setting up the internet microwave link. Unfortunately, this can only happen during the week of 11–15 August, so there will be no internet connection initially, meaning we won’t be able to stream shows or receive WhatsApp messages during that period.

This is not ideal, and we apologise in advance, but we believe this is a really good move for us and that you, our listeners, sponsors and advertisers will also benefit from the move.

Broadcasting in the Western Cape’s Deep Southern Peninsula, Zone Radio 88.5 fm is primarily a music station supported by talk where entertainment, education and information are packaged for our listeners. At the heart of the product is a program grid that is listener driven offering adult contemporary music 7 days a week. Zone Radio has always been committed to job creation, supporting small business, the promotion of South African and Independent music and the development of new broadcast talent. Zone Radio's focus in on the following: * We will playlist the kind of adult contemporary music often absent from existing radio stations in South Africa. * Providing a platform for local musicians showcase their talent. * Developing training programs for young people who wish to become involved in radio as producers, journalists or presenters. * Providing a place where young presenters and sound technicians will be given the opportunity to hone their skill. * Offering clients cost effective but creative advertising solutions using the multi-media platforms available via the internet. * Creating employment opportunities * Remaining interactive with our listeners so as to develop a “Zone Radio Community” * Portraying the best of the “Deep South” and South Africa to the world.
