“Lullaby” is a deeply human trilogy of films for Amnesty International. Sensitively directed by Justice Rendani Mukheli, the campaign draws attention to the disturbing rise in pre-teen pregnancy in South Africa (2,103 girls aged 10 to 14 gave birth in 2024). A shocking revelation delivered with the ironic tenderness of a lullaby, which are usually the first acts of safety, comfort and motherhood. But here, children sing them to children.
