Left to explore our autonomy in a time void of external stimuli, we navigate through emotions of fear and longing. “Distance” encompasses our ability to confront these questions during this time: why we are who we are, and where we're headed.
"With Seeflehx's unique take on dance and movement, we are shown a journey into pure self-exploration, a call for hope; and the realities of facing isolation and uncertainty. The composition by Vicmari and Luis 93 highlights our battle with this non-living entity. Sounds of distress from an arpeggiated synthesiser provide the dystopian tone of navigating uncharted territory. Jazz-inspired melodies humanise the piece, alluding to the complex human experiences this period has imposed on us."
