To my Clairey, Happy Birthday! 💫
From around the world and back again — through the tiny alleyways in old cities, the rice paddies and mountain tops, the street food stalls, and sandy shores — there’s no one else I’d rather rather be doing life with.

We’ve shared moments that feel like a dream, met the goofiest dogs, cats, and characters from every corner of the globe. I honestly can’t imagine where the future will take us… but one thing I know for sure is that I’ll be by your side for it all.

Your grandad would be immensely proud — not just of what you’ve accomplished, but of the kind, strong, brilliant woman you’ve become. You’re the best person I’ve ever met… and somehow, you’re mine.

Here’s to more adventures, more cuddles with random animals, and more memories with you. I love you endlessly. 💛

Welcome to our favourite part of South Korea - Gyeongju! The ancient capital 😍

If you have never heard of this place, don’t worry, neither had we 😅. But when planning our itinerary, we really wanted to explore a traditional village somewhere in the countryside and so, we found Gyeongju. It is relatively popular because it’s just a 30 minute train ride from Busan. Most people only do it as a day trip and we think that’s a huge mistake😭💔. We booked a 2 night stay in a beautiful hanok house that was built over 100 years ago and it was magic😍. Every building holds history, every restaurant and every corner has a story to tell. You’ll feel transported back to the times of the Silla dynasty (BCE 57- CE 935) and isn’t that JUST what travel is about? Being transported back to a different era through architecture, history and food😍🙌🏻

This one is a special one, add it to your Korean bucketlist🫶🏻

Welcome, we are happy to have you!

We're Rhett & Claire, a couple from Johannesburg, South Africa. We will be leaving Africa in just a few months to embark on an adventure starting off in Asia! We would really love to have you follow along on this adventure! Our first few months will be spent in South East Asia where we are enrolled for a TESOL course in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam! Our goal is to document and show you guys as much of the process as possible while making it fun, informative and cinematic. So stay tuned if you are interested in exploring new places with us, eating strange and wonderful foods and diving into the local life, culture and life as an English teacher in Asia.
