Our travel plans for the rest of 2025! 😁⬇️

As Spring sets in in South Africa - we set off on a big 2 month adventure!😁✈️🌎

🏝️ 2 weeks island hopping GREECE - this is Rhetty’s favorite country ever so needless to say, we’re soooo syked to be back in the Med!😭😍. But we’re doing it a bit differently this time 😉

🌊 3 weeks in Sri Lanka - we’ve wanted to visit this country for so long now! They say Sri Lanka is how Bali was 10-20 years ago. We literally can’t wait🥹

🪷 3.5 weeks Southern India - one of our favourite country’s in the WORLD but we’ve never been to the South! This time we’re traveling with an awesome travel agency and they’ve planned us some luxurious stays, plenty time in nature, houseboats, aaaand even a seaside Ayurveda retreat!😱🧘🏼‍♀️

We’ve loved being home in South Africa the last few months but we love exploring this great big world a little bit more😉🌏

Happy World Elephant Day ❤️🐘. How crazy is it that I was just going through all of these elephant photos just yesterday, trying to figure out which one to print in black and white for our new home?😱. It must be a sign to share this special day with you honoring our gentle giants ❤️

Over the last decade, elephant numbers have dropped by 62%. Over 100 African elephants are illegally poached each day for their ivory. The Asian elephant is critically endangered with only 40 000 remaining worldwide - that’s less than a tenth of the African elephant population😭. Cute fun fact though: the elephant is a national icon in Thailand, and has its own national holiday in its honor❤️

If you’ve had the honour to come anywhere close to an elephant, you would know how precious, powerful and emotionally intelligent they are. Let’s protect them ❤️

Welcome, we are happy to have you!

We're Rhett & Claire, a couple from Johannesburg, South Africa. We will be leaving Africa in just a few months to embark on an adventure starting off in Asia! We would really love to have you follow along on this adventure! Our first few months will be spent in South East Asia where we are enrolled for a TESOL course in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam! Our goal is to document and show you guys as much of the process as possible while making it fun, informative and cinematic. So stay tuned if you are interested in exploring new places with us, eating strange and wonderful foods and diving into the local life, culture and life as an English teacher in Asia.
