From spice gardens to rum tasting, visiting giant tortoises and helicopter flights, there’s plenty to do in Seychelles, beyond lying on the sand. Here are some of our favourite things to do on the islands:
🌊Swim at Port Launay – snorkel, kayak and explore the crystal-clear waters of this marine national park
⛵ Explore Eden Island – wander the marina, browse the shops and watch the yachts come and go
🌿 Wander Le Jardin du Roi – discover spice gardens, tortoises, tropical plants and spectacular views (and don’t miss the papaya fritters!)
🍹Visit Takamaka Rum Distillery – see how Seychelles’ famous rum is made, explore the estate and, naturally, enjoy a tasting
🏖️ Spend the day at Beau Vallon – swim, build sandcastles, eat, shop and explore
🌴Walk through Vallée de Mai – venture into an ancient palm forest and search for the legendary coco de mer
🩴Discover Anse Georgette – powder-white sand, granite boulders and impossibly turquoise water. Basically, paradise
⛳Play golf at Constance Lemuria – tee off among tropical greenery and take on the spectacular 15th hole
🚲Cycle around La Digue – swap cars for bicycles, explore L’Union Estate and meet the island’s enormous Aldabra giant tortoises
🚁Take to the skies with Zil Air – see the Seychelles from above, with tiny islands scattered across that incredible blue ocean
🏝️Escape to Cerf Island – slow right down with snorkelling, kayaking, long lunches and absolutely nowhere you need to be
