MURDER SUSPECTS APPREHENDED
TABLE VIEW:
Detectives apprehended two suspects linked to a murder, which occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, 31 August 2025 at Marine Circle in Bloubergstrand. Officers were busy with routine patrols in the vicinity, when they noticed a crowd gathering in Marine Circle. An unknown male was found unresponsive, with a stab wound under his arm. Paramedics declared the victim deceased at the scene. On the same day SAPS Table View detectives went to a property near the crime scene, where video footage was obtained.
Two suspects were identified, and they were traced to a dwelling in Cape Town, where they were arrested shortly before noon. A male, 30-years-old and a female, 24-years-old are charged with murder and will appear in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 02 September 2025.
In an unrelated incident, a burglar gained access to a property in San Martin Crescent, Blouberg, by forcing a window open. The homeowner woke up from a noise she heard in the house. The 87-year-old woman was accosted by the unknown male and she fought back and shouted for help, which attracted the attention of her neighbours. The man then jumped out of a window and fell on his head. He succumbed shortly afterwards from the injury he sustained during the fall. The concerned neighbours rushed to the woman to ascertain if she was unharmed.
Ends.
