Did you know that over 12 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year? That’s the equivalent of a garbage truck dumping its load into the sea every single minute! 😱

Join The bowtie property guy this Saturday 4 January for a Treasure Hunt Beach Cleanup at Blouberg Beach, where we’re taking a stand against this crisis. Every piece of trash we pick up is one less that harms marine life or lands back on our beautiful shores.

🌟 Plus, there’s treasure to be found! Hidden glass bottles filled with prizes await, thanks to the support of Beach Boulevard Business Precinct.

The southeaster is BACK on the last day of the Red Bull King of the Air waiting period, and the event will be ON today!

This is the last chance to complete the event, and we still have 3 amazing South African riders (Luca Ceruti, Jason Van Der Spuy, and Josh Gillitt) to support alongside the rest of the international fleet of men and women! 🇿🇦

The first possible start time is 2pm, but the organisers are looking for 25 knots of wind to be able to classify a proper big air event, so the start time will be pushed until strong wind comes to the party, possibly until 4pm but time will tell.

The beachfront road near Kite Beach / KFC will be closed until late this evening, so prepare for traffic and limited parking in the immediate area.

Remember that the event is FREE and open to everyone, so come down to the beach when your trees start shaking and hopefully we can all see some epic big air kiting action! Bring sunscreen, water, and a jacket for later in the day. See you down there! 🤙
