📚✨ Children & Teen Fine-Free Week is coming! ✨📚

From December 15–20, 2025, we’re waiving overdue fines on any library materials belonging to patrons ages 0–17 that are returned during these dates. Just bring the items back—no overdue charges!

👉 Please note: This promotion only applies to overdue items returned during the campaign week.
Fines from items already returned before Dec 15 are not eligible and will still require payment.

We hope this helps families start the new year with a clean slate—see you at the library! 📖💙

"And this brings our Pram Jam Story and Rhyme Time for 2025 to a close." Thank you to all the nannies, parents, grandparents and toddlers for this wonderful year of joy and fun! Thank you to our Pram Jam Team - Jackie and Brenda - for engaging our toddlers with stories, rhymes and songs. Thank you to the Friends of Observatory Library for funding our storytime programmes through the year.

Seniors Standing Strong! Even in the midst of a heatwave, our incredible elders gathered at the library to watch Madan Sara, a moving documentary that celebrates resilience, community, and the power of the Haitian market women.

A heartfelt thank you to for giving our library the opportunity to share this inspiring story. Your generosity helped spark meaningful conversations and connection.
