Today we honour Steve Bantu Biko (1946-1977) - the fearless voice who taught us that "the most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed."
As we commemorate both his birth and remember his tragic death on this date in 1977, we're reminded of how one man's vision of Black Consciousness transformed a nation's understanding of freedom and dignity.
📚 Exciting News: We're proud to announce our upcoming book celebrating Biko's life and enduring impact. Stay tuned for more details on this important tribute to a true icon of freedom. https://www.news24.com/southafrica/crime-and-courts/npa-reopens-inquest-into-steve-bikos-death-48-years-later-20250910-1090?
