It was awesome collaborating on the audio for Cut Short, a film directed by Olz McCoy.

This film tells the true story of Jayden, a young professional boxer from London determined to escape a life of crime. When his younger brother Sammy is pulled into the same dangerous world, Jayden risks everything to protect him.

We’ve already shown off our dedicated Foley Stage, but here’s the inside story from world-renowned acoustic architect Martin Pilchner, who designed it.

Martin and his team at Pilchner Schoustal International Inc. have been part of our journey from day one, designing our original studio in Cape Town and now this next big leap: doubling our audio edit capacity, adding more client amenities, another Dolby ATMOS mix stage, and a purpose-built Foley Studio crafted for precision, scale, and the intricate art of performance-based sound.

As our CEO James Matthes says: “Building a dedicated Foley stage is the final piece in the puzzle of becoming a full-service music and audio studio. It’s not just for us, it’s a platform for the continent.”

Foley isn’t new to us, but this space truly raises the bar for African audio, and we’re proud to share it with the industry.

The Jbay Surf Festival wrapped up this past weekend.

We’re stoked to share that we handled the audio post on this piece of coastal poetry, presented by Corona Studios.

Feeling J’Bay isn’t just about surfing, it’s about rhythm, identity, and the power of place. From hand-carved boards to sunrise dolphins, this short doc captures the quiet magic of Jeffrey’s Bay and the stories that flow through its water.

Behind every shot, there’s the sound.

We loved seeing this detailed review of Sniper: The Last Stand, the eleventh film in this iconic franchise, with plenty of praise for its sharp, immersive audio.

"The sound design is equally crucial, creating an auditory landscape of sharp, distinct cracks from sniper rifles, heavy thuds of physical blows, and the ever-present threat of approaching enemy fire."
