This is a dear friend who had intense radiation treatment this year.

You can see the skin is extremely red, irritated, and becomes dry and pigmented.

She doesn’t live in South Africa, but together, we devised a plan to help her obtain the necessary products to enable her skin to heal and ultimately to treat the pigmentation.

I recommended growth factors from , some specialised ampoules from , the old faithful Lazur Azu-Repair gel from to repair, calm and strengthen the skin barrier function.

Once I felt the skin was in a stable condition, we added the Cosmelan 2 cream to treat the hyperpigmentation.

Zero sun exposure and medical-grade spf50 sunscreens have and continue to be essential.

Her skin is looking so much better and more comfortable. Her skin will continue to improve with time and a consistent skin plan.

Thrilled with my results from Cosmelan 2 cream, in only a month!

A huge reduction in my sun damage, and the overall condition, texture and tone of my skin is so much better.

I have done NO other treatments during this time - no peels, microneedling or anything else.

There’s more improvement to come as I keep using it and introduce a few other treatments and products.

Skin aesthetics and skin health go hand in hand.
