🎬 How to Light a Green Screen Like a Pro 🎬

1. Even Lighting Across the Screen
Use soft, diffused lights (like LED panels or softboxes) to create a smooth wash of light across the entire green screen. This prevents shadows, hot spots, and uneven colouring that can ruin your key.

2. Separate Subject and Background Lighting
Light your subject independently from the green screen to avoid spill (that green glow on skin or clothes). Keep some distance between the subject and the screen, and use backlighting or hair lights to create clean separation.

3. Match Lighting to Your Scene
If you already know what the background replacement will be, light your subject to match that environment. Direction, temperature, and intensity should all align to sell the illusion.

The Media Hive provides

The Media Hive provides a 120 square meter (1292 square feet) studio, completely soundproof (According to BBC standard).

The Visual Impact Studio has a dressing room, kitchen and full bathroom. The studio comes equipped with Sound Attenuated air conditioning to further improve the soundproof rating.

The studio is a drive-in studio allowing clients to drive a vehicle in to the studio when doing car

commercials or still shoots. The Visual Impact studio is a green screen studio.
