Stepping in when there is no government support for libraries....

We’ve officially joined the Literacy Association of South Africa (LITASA) as a member for 2025 - 2027. LITASA is a registered Non-Profit Organisation and Public Benefit Organisation with the primary purpose of promoting literacy.

We have a vested interest in youth development, so literacy and numeracy are the cornerstone and the foundation of our education programme. Our focus on Early Childhood Development and Foundation Phases recognises that these early years are where we either set our young learners up for success or leave them struggling to catch up.

Our membership in LITASA is about amplifying our impact and ensuring every child we reach has the literacy foundation they deserve. This opens incredible doors to further our literacy impact across South Africa.

As LITASA members, we now have access to:
🎯 Expert-led workshops and professional development
📊 Cutting-edge insights from the SA literacy community
📖 Practical resources to boost our literacy programmes
🏢Guidance on establishing libraries and reading clubs
🤝 Direct networking with top literacy professionals

Excited to see what we can achieve together!
