Last KOTA 2025 dump - That’s a wrap on Red Bull King of the Air 2025, and what a massive week it has been at Kite Beach. From the 40-knot winds to this final moment of victory on the podium, the energy was absolutely unreal.
As a sports photographer in Cape Town, this event is the ultimate test. It requires tracking athletes boosting 30 meters high one second and capturing split-second, raw emotion on the ground the next.
Being a specialized kitesurf photographer isn’t just about documenting the tricks; it’s about telling the full story of the battle. The tension, the crashes, the camaraderie, and finally, the glory.
I’m stoked to have documented the world’s best sending it. This is why I love being an action sports photographer—freezing these historic moments forever.
