Dear Residents,
Certain parts of our ward are currently experiencing an Eskom power supply disruption. In order for me to follow up with Eskom, I will require the reference numbers for the calls logged by affected residents.

Eskom does not always grasp the seriousness of faults when only a handful of people report them. However, when multiple residents log complaints, they can see the scale of the issue and may decide to prioritise the repair accordingly.
Unfortunately, residents living in the City of Cape Town rental units (flats) will not be able to log calls, as they do not have Eskom meters. They can, however, assist by encouraging their neighbours who do not reside in the flats to log calls.
