Comment YTT and we will send you more information about our upcoming teacher trainings.
One of the biggest shifts in our teaching over the years has been realising that movement, pain and the nervous system are far more individual and nuanced than many of us were originally taught. But so many cues and ideas still get repeated simply because theyāve been passed down for decades.
We donāt say this with judgement, we used to teach many of these things too.
These slides arenāt about saying old-school yoga teaching is āwrong.ā Theyāre about recognising that context matters, humans are adaptable, and there is rarely one perfect cue, breath, posture or strategy for every single body.
Honestly, becoming more comfortable saying āit dependsā and āI donāt knowā probably made us far better teachers than trying to sound certain all the time.
And this is exactly the kind of work weāll be exploring inside our 50-hour Creative Sequencing module starting in two weeks, looking at movement through a much more adaptable, neuro-informed lens.
Thereās also currently a huge Ā£500 sale running if youāve been thinking about joining us.
