Home of Hope is a place where safety, love and possibility come together. Their Child and Youth Care Centre creates a stable, nurturing environment for children who have experienced trauma, neglect or exploitation, giving them the chance to heal, grow and dream again.

When you volunteer through Thina, you can get involved in a few meaningful ways:

• The Anslem Farm – volunteer alongside young adults with FASD, helping teach life skills through vegetable gardening, baking in the kitchen, or even cleaning and packing chicken eggs 🥕🍞🐓

• The Home of Hope School – help teach, connect and build bonds with the children in a safe, supportive learning environment 📚

• The Home of Hope Thrift Store – they’re always looking for clothing donations, so if you have items to give, please send them their way 👕💛

When you volunteer through Thina, you’re not just giving your time. You’re showing a child that they matter, that they’re seen, and that there are people in the world who believe in them.

We’re excited to share that bana ba bobirwa, a beautiful environmental education initiative based in botswana, is looking for passionate volunteers to join their upcoming eco-camps.

These camps give children living near game reserves the chance to learn life skills, experience conservation first-hand, and build confidence through connection with nature.

Volunteers play an essential role, from guiding activities to sharing knowledge to inspiring the next generation of environmental protectors. 🌱✨

If you’re a medical or conservation student based in gauteng (or willing to travel) and want to be part of something truly meaningful, this could be your moment. 💛
