He’ll be in conversation with about his life as a composer, musician, record producer, sound engineer, and studio owner for nearly 40 years. Expect everything from stories of recording Abdullah Ibrahim and to scoring Country of My Skull and writing music under lockdown.

We keep forgetting to post these, so here’s a series of stars in Studio 4. Yes, you saw correctly: that’s enjoying a cup of rooibos. He came in for ADR and it was a lot of fun.

Part of the luck of running such a long-standing studio is the chance to work with musicians again and again over the years. It's wonderful to develop relationships with the people who make up the musical fabric of the city.
