“An ode to my childhood house, where memories are cherished for the rest of our lives. My identity is deeply rooted in that place, no matter how small it may seem. It’s a home of love and care, filled with laughter, tears, and pain. The power of childhood homes lies in their ability to shape our identities and memories. We learn lessons from life experiences and gain knowledge through the people we encounter along the way. Our parents instilled values such as perseverance, hard work, and the importance of education. It’s a place where we were loved and cared for, which is something that cannot be replaced by anything else. The walls may have been four, but they held more than just physical space. They served as a canvas to paint memories on. The memories created in my childhood home are priceless, and they shape who i am today. It’s not the walls that define me, it’s the people who lived there with me. And that’s what makes childhood homes special - they remind us of our past, where we were loved and cared for.”

"SAMSON NYAMA YAKANAKA INOTAURA YEGA" why the advert was banned?.
The phrase "SAMSON NYAMA YAKANAKA INOTAURA YEGA" translates to "Samson, good meat speaks for itself." This is a famous slogan from a TV advert for the Cold Storage Company (CSC) meat brand. The advert featured a bull named Samson, and the slogan became a cultural icon. The ad was so popular that it became a meme, and many people still remember it today, unfortunately not the millennials because the ad ran in early 1980s.
The story goes that the ad was even a source of political controversy, with some claiming that the slogan was seen as a political statement rather than a simple advertisement for meat. Specifically, some felt that the line "nyama inonaka inotaura yega" (good meat speaks for itself) was a reference to the 1985 elections and a criticism of ZANU now 's political control, according to T Magaisa on X.
Here is where the Story starts to get interesting, the ad was banned because ’s ZAPU used the bull as its party symbol in the 1985 elections, same year when the ad was running. Apparently, ZANU didn’t like the idea of Samson declaring “nyama inonaka inotaura yega”!

the importance of Education is one of the keys to achieving success in this world. It paves the way for all kinds of opportunities, allows people to expand their perspectives, and strengthens nations. While some argue about the value of education, evidence shows that it is very important.
