Living Water: Exploring AI, Faith, and the Stories We Tell

So, my kids love the ocean—they love oceanic creatures, and they’re fascinated by the world they live in. We love exploring all of these wonders together. In my latest film, Living Water, in collaboration with these cool little kiddos, we’ve explored not only AI but also the deeper truths that lie within me and the truths that lie within them.

Recently, one of my kids asked me, “Dad, why do you do what you do? Why do you create the things you create?” This got me thinking about the impact of my work. As a parent who homeschools four children, runs a business, and directs creative projects for global brands, I understand the importance of communicating what’s true to people. I wanted my kids to understand what is true to me. So while creating this film, I brought them along on the journey, bringing them into these beautiful spaces to help create the creatures and bring them to life. This involvement helped me ideate some of the creatures, and together we infused AI to blend them into these imagined realities. It completely blew their minds—and mine too. Along the way, it sparked curiosity, not just about the AI and the tools we used, but about the deeper truths of God’s creation and the living creativity that exists within us.

In a world that often values us based on progress and performance, it’s worth pausing to consider what truly matters. How do we connect the extraordinary creative worlds we imagine with the everyday realities we experience? By prioritizing being fully available and present to those around us who are seeking answers, we can use AI not just as a tool for creation, but as a means to make meaningful connections in the time we have.

I used tools like Runway, AfterEffects, Topaz Video AI, Splice, Red Giant, and Artlist to bring this film to life. These tools helped me create a story that not only reflects my work but also shares the deeper truths I believe in.

- Create enticing design for a wide range of global brands
- Cultivate creative, and work towards successfully growing our clients.
- Work on many simultaneous projects, execute with overview and pixel perfect detail, on time and budget
- Design corporate identities, infographics, presentations, marketing materials, illustrations, print design, and with our motion team, you’ll be crafting storyboards, design & illustration for motion.

What you’ll need.

Bachelors degree + strong portfolio.
- 3 years + industry experience in design, communication, creative or similar field.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, etc.
- Multitask projects + learn process in great detail
- The ability to provide top-notch design or guidance based on extensive knowledge and skill.
- Skills & experience with Motion Design and Animation in after effects is a Plus.

This film will take you on a little eclectic journey, showing things look pretty damn cool shaded in Blackness. Working together with a bad-ass team we went all out
